First Look: Mortal Instruments Trading Cards

Thanks to beckett.com, they have given us the first look at The Mortal Instruments trading cards. On the page, we get a look at the cards, shown below, but here is what has been said on the site itself regarding the trading cards.

Each box will contain 24 packs with six cards in each pack. Each box will also contain three hits, on average with two autographs and a movie-worn memorabilia card.

The base set will consist of 100 cards featuring scenes from the movie, character cards and even photo from behind the scenes.

The autographs will feature the main stars of the set including Lily Collins (The Blind Side), Jonathan Rhys-Meyers(The Tudors), Lena Heady (Game of Thrones, Sarah Connor Chronicles), and Jamie Campbell Bower. There will also be an autograph of The Mortal Instruments author Cassandra Clare.

Below you can find the images included on the site.

There are 12 images, some even have writing on the. Presumably, the writing is supposed to be autographs, but from looking between all the signed cards, and then researching the actors autographs, they don’t match up, therefore I believe they are just generic for visualisation for the cards.

However, I think the cards look great and can’t wait to see more of them. I am (once again) in love with the Jamie card, considering he’s pulling the seraph blade out of it’s holder – also thrilled theirs a Magnus Bane one!

What do you guys think? Will you be buying the trading cards?
