I wanted to write a quick post with some of the stuff you might want to know about Cassie’s tour that kicks off in London tomorrow.
Firstly this statement was released on Monday:
A message from Simon & Schuster UK, publisher of LADY MIDNIGHT, book one in the new Shadowhunters trilogy, THE DARK ARTIFICES, by Cassandra Clare.
Book signing guidelines for the UK and Irish LADY MIDNIGHT tour:
Due to a hand injury, Cassandra Clare will be signing copies of only LADY MIDNIGHT (plus dedication) on her upcoming UK and Irish tour, 16 – 22nd April 2016.
Fans can also bring along up to two other books by Cassie in which she’ll stamp a special Shadowhunting symbol.
Now on to the tour locations and info:
Saturday 16th April – SOLD OUT
11.00 – Super fan event with Q&A, rune body-art, cosplay, goody bags and more at the Leicester Square Theatre, London, with Waterstones.
Dominic Sherwood will be attending. The Q&A will be followed by the book signing. This event is supported by Maximum Pop! Books and will be streamed live on Twitter Persicope, fronted by Luke Franks. Find out more by following: @maximumpopbooks. Dom won’t be signing anything!
Sunday 17th April
13.00 – signing at WHSmiths Milton Keynes. No ticket required, one book will need to have been purchased at WHSmiths (proof of purchase may be required). This is only a signing, no Q&A. First come first served, so arrive a little early so you don’t miss out!
Sunday 17th April
17.00 – signing at Waterstones Birmingham High Street. No ticket required, one book will need to have been purchased at any Waterstones store/online (proof of purchase will be required). This is only a signing, no Q&A. Queue location will depend on weather. If you need any help just go in and ask a member of staff for help 🙂 First come first served, so arrive a little early so you don’t miss out!
Monday 18th April – SOLD OUT
18.30 – Q&A and signing at Waterstones Leeds. Ticket required. I cannot confirm this, but there is a chance you might need to purchase one of the books you get signed from Waterstones (if you got a ticket with the book included then you should be fine). If you go in to the store and ask one of the members of staff I am sure they will be able to help with any questions you have.
Tuesday 19th April
15.00 – signing at Waterstones Edinburgh. No ticket required. I called to ask if you needed to buy a book from Waterstones to join the queue but the member of staff said no but I would recommend that you ask when you get there to just be sure.
Tuesday 19th April – SOLD OUT
18.30 – Q&A and signing at Waterstones Glasgow. Ticket required. I called to ask if you needed to buy a book from Waterstones but the member of staff said no, as long as you have a copy of Lady Midnight for Cassie to sign it doesn’t matter where you got it from.
Thursday 21st April – SOLD OUT
18.30 – Q&A and signing at the Liberty Hall Theatre, supported by Easons. Ticket required. All tickets purchased received a copy of Lady Midnight in the post included in the ticket. Make sure you bring it with you to get signed by Cassie.
I (Sarah) will be attending the London Superfan event and the Milton Keynes signing.
Eilidh will be attending both Scotland events.
