Hi everyone!
My name is Sarah and I live in England.
I am quite new to reading. Obviously I read books when I had to in school, but I never really saw the point in reading for pleasure. I was always more of a film girl.

When I got a job in a call centre I was allowed to read between calls at the weekend, so thought I might as well read something.
So I was looking in Waterstones for something I might like and saw the gorgeous cover of Clockwork Angel on the shelf that was on sale. This was in 2011. I knew I shouldn’t pick a book by its cover but come on, it’s Will Herondale! I knew it was going to be great.

It took me a couple of weekend shifts to read it but as soon as I finished I realised this author was definitely going to be one of my favourites.
I had to wait a few months before Clockwork Prince came out and as soon as I finished that I knew I had to start on Cassie’s TMI series.

Luckily there was quite a few of those out by the time I started reading them so I read CoB, CoA, CoG and CoFA one after the other. I then had to wait a few months of CoLS.

I have a lot to thank of Cassie because if Clockwork Angel wasn’t such a great story I probably never would have pick up another book and would have read magazines between calls at the weekend.

She has shown me that reading is amazing and I am so glad to be part of such a great fandom that centres around my most beloved books.

My favourite TMI book is City of Glass and my favourite TMI character is easily Simon.

My favourite TID book is Clockwork Princess (my favourite book full stop!) and my favourite character is the perfect Mr William Herondale

My favourite quote of all time will forever be “I love you, and I will love you until I die, and if there is life after that, I’ll love you then.” – Jace, City of Glass.

Hello darling Nephilim! Thank you for clicking on my little info page!

My name is Eilidh, and I am the co-founder of British Nephilim along with Sarah, who is my lovely parabatai – she is the best. I met her through twitter, and she convinced me to set up a TMI Twitter page so… I did. If you want to follow that, go ahead. (@TMIScotland: twitter.com/TMIScotland)

As you can guess from my twitter username, I am from Scotland, I have lived here my whole life. I am currently studying Business Management at university.

My favourite series is The Mortal Instruments (obviously) but I also LOVE The Infernal Devices. I read TMI in 2009 and TID as soon as it came out.

My favourite character is Jace. I relate to his sense of humour more than any other character.

My favourite casting was also Jamie Campbell Bower as Jace. I saw him in a UK TV show called Camelot, in which I had already read the TMI books, and I fancasted Jamie from the second I saw him in that TV show. If you haven’t seen Camelot – go and watch it – it’s like he was destined to play Jace.

My favourite quote from TMI is: ‘If I can still dream, I will dream of you’ – very cheesy and very hopeless romantic-y.

My favourite TID quote is: ‘Pulvis et umbra sumus’ which I will hopefully be getting tattooed on my rib later this year (yay)!

If you have any other questions, please ask away in the comments below or alternativley contact me through twitter (@TMIScotland, or my personal @eilidhsaur) or my tumblr (http://dusttandshadows.tumblr.com)

Lots of love always,

(Oh and it’s pronounced Ay-lee, but you can just call me Eili)
